Sunday Times Top 100 Companies Awards

The Sunday Times Top 100 Companies prestigious awards acknowledges listed companies which have earned the highest returns for their shareholders over the last five years.  In association with INET BFA Africa, the awards acknowledge the Top 100 Companies, Top Company, Business Leader and Lifetime Achiever of the year.  This much anticipated high profile event is attended by some of South Africa’s most established business leaders.

The Directors Event

In association with Sunday Times Top 100 Companies, MMI Holdings and the Institute of Directors, The Directors Event is South Africa’s biggest board meeting.  For the third year, SA leaders from all spheres will tackle the country’s most pressing issues through hard-hitting roundtable discussions moderated by leading media personalities.  With an audience of over 250 influential SA business leaders, the objective of the event is to harness the collective intellectual energy to ensure South Africa’s future financial wellness.

Sunday Times Top Brands Awards & Conference

The eminent annual Sunday Times Top Brands survey continues into its 18th year and is the longest running consumer brand survey in South Africa. The accolades are presented at a cocktail awards function which is preceded by the Sunday Times Top Brands Conference.

Sunday Times Generation Next

2017 will see The Sunday Times Generation Next movement deliver insights into youth brand preference and consumer behaviour for the 13th time! The Youth Marketing Conference, Interactive Showcase and Awards will be charged with a new energy and loads of inspiration for effective youth engagement strategies for brand, marketing, media and advertising professionals in the youth marketing space who hope to better understand consumption habits, trends, and much more. An interactive showcase of brand activations and sponsorship opportunities are available throughout the day.

Literary Awards

The Sunday Times Literary Awards are composed of two awards, fiction and non-fiction, awarded by the Sunday Times. The awards are the Barry Ronge Fiction Prize (formerly Sunday Times Fiction Prize 2001-2014) and the Alan Paton Award for works of non-fiction (1989-present) which are presented at an awards gala dinner with the who’s who in the literary world.

Leaders on the Move

In association with the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies Awards and Institute of Directors, Leaders on the Move is a novel concept that takes a group of tomorrow’s business leaders to meet South Africa’s top business executives face-to-face in a unique mentorship programme. Facilitated by leading business commentator, Jeremy Maggs, the group travels via luxury coach around Johannesburg, meeting carefully selected business leaders, who impart knowledge that can’t be taught at a business school.
